DANGEROUS BACK WIRED RECEPTACLES
Back wired receptacles are common in homes with aluminum wiring and are sometimes used with copper as well. These receptacles pose an extreme fire hazard and should be replaced .
POOR CONNECTION POINTS
Bad connections are a major cause of fire and are common place especially in homes with aluminum wiring.The use of proper Marretts and NOLOX an anti-oxidant compound could have prevented this costly damage!
OVERLOADED
It is dangerous to overload a receptacle with to many extension cords. It could lead to a fire or a short circuit. If you do find it necessary to have an adapter such as the one in this photo ensure that it is CSA / UL listed.
